Wildfire Defensible Space
Mandatory Home Inspections have arrived
The North Tahoe Fire Protection District will be conducting curbside Defensible Space Inspections of all homes within Agate Bay starting at the end of summer 2021.
North Tahoe Fire staff will be walking the neighborhoods, conducting the inspections from the street, and mailing the "Notice of Defensible Space Inspection" to
your legal mailing address (where your taxes go).
When you get these notices, take the time to read them over and complete any work that is needed to comply with
defensible space requirements and more importantly to make your property more resilient to wildfire.

fill out the form to book a free inspection where you a North Tahoe Fire Defensible Space Inspector will meet with you at your property for 30 minutes.
